11th Annual Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology Winter Boot Camp
PRACTICAL CRYO-ELECTRON MICROSCOPY
This immersive program will help you develop hands-on skills for cryo-electron microscopy with an emphasis on the ability to execute workflows with instrumentation at Rutgers that will benefit your coursework and your research, and advance your career.
Dates: January 13-17, 2025
Location: Rutgers University, Proteomics Building Busch Campus
The Experience:
Over the period of 5 full days, you will be working in small groups led by cryo-EM experts in hands-on units including specimen vitrification, electron microscopy, and single-particle reconstruction.
Who Should Participate:
Graduate students, advanced undergraduates, postdoctoral trainees, and other scientists interested in using cryo-EM in their work. This boot camp can be taken in partial fulfillment of requirements to earn the Cryo-EM digital badge (credentials.rutgers.edu)

Send an email to iqb-bootcamp@rcsb.org by Monday, December 2nd that includes:
- a brief statement (up to 100 words) outlining your research interests and how you anticipate using cryo-EM in the future
- resume
- an unofficial transcript
Accepted participants will be notified no later than December 9th and provided a Special Permission Number for registration purposes.
